Saunas and Steam Rooms

Saunas and steam rooms are a popular type of treatment for men. This is because they are shown to be great for relieving muscle stress from sport, exercise or bad posture.

Heat is associated with the relief of tension. Often a steam or sauna before a massage will warm up your muscles and enhance the effectiveness of the massage.

The heat experienced in saunas and steam rooms differs. Whilst saunas generate dry heat and are a positive treatment for muscle relaxation and lowering blood pressure, steam rooms produce moist heat which helps with the overall detoxification of the body and the skin.
